I have forgotten my password. Click ‘Existing customer, password forgotten’ on the Home page, fill in the same email address that you used to register and click ‘Send’. Your password will be forwarded to the email address.
I have not received a registration email. It could be that your email programme or Internet provider uses a Spam filter and that the email has been stopped by this filter. Try to find out if this is the case and look for instance in 'Deleted item' (in Outlook). The subject of the email is 'TVU Vakbladen b.v. registration'.
I am not able to register. You only have to register once. After registration you will receive an email with login details (user name and password). With these details you will be able to log in at the website. If the username given by you is already in use by another person you will be notified of such.
I am not able to log in. After registration you will receive an email with login details. Use these details to log in. If you are not able to log in, this will probably be due to a typing error. Log in details are upper case sensitive. Copy them exactly from the registration email.
Tip: Copy the password (CTRL+C) from the registration email and paste (CTRL+V) this in the box.

Change of address. You are obliged to inform TVU Vakbladen b.v. of any address changes in writing, one month prior to the actual moving date. For as long as TVU Vakbladen b.v. has not received a change of address, TVU Vakbladen b.v. will assume that you are residing at the address last known to TVU Vakbladen b.v. You will remain responsible for any articles delivered to such address. You should notify the publisher as soon as possible of any errors in the name or address of the subscriber. Is it possible to download older issues ? As a subscriber to our Digital Edition you automatically have access to the most recently published Magazine.
Why must my browser accept Cookies ? A Cookie is a small file, which is stored on your computer. This file contains the access rights to use the Digital Edition – above all, which part of the edition your may use and for how long. A Cookie is for the use of the Digital Edition necessary.
This is how it works The Digital Edition of the magazine ELEKTRO-INSTALLATEUR on the Internet is, because of the latest E-Paper-Technology, being presented to you in such a way, just as you are accustomed to from the Paper Edition.
When will I receive the first magazine of my new subscription ? When you have taken out a subscription on one of our magazines and the subscription costs as well as the cost of postage, shipping and handling have been received on our bank account you should receive your first copy around four weeks after your payment (depending on the frequency of the magazine).
Where will I be able to find my subscription number ? You will find your subscription number on your deposit transfer card, invoice or on the address label of your magazine.
I have requested a subscription but have not received any confirmation of my order. Subscriptions can be taken out in writing or via the Internet. You will always receive a confirmation of your order. If you take out a subscription via the Internet you will be shown a page with your confirmation.
Refusal of a subscription. TVU Vakbladen b.v. is entitled to refuse the request for a subscription and/or (interim) cancel a subscription without stating the reasons hereof.
How long is my subscription valid for ? A subscription is valid for the period stated and will be automatically renewed with a similar period unless you cancel you subscription on time. A subscription period is at least one year.
Will my subscription end automatically ? No, unless explicitly stated otherwise, all subscriptions are valid until cancelled and will be automatically renewed.
What is the cancellation period for my magazine ? If you wish to end the subscription of your magazine you will need to inform us of this at least six weeks prior to the end of the subscription period via the ‘subscription cancellation form’. If you cancel your subscription less than six weeks before the end of your subscription period your subscription will be terminated at the end of the following subscription period.
I would like to order a single copy of a certain magazine. Can I ? When in stock, you can order a single copy. Orders for single copies can only be paid by direct debit or in advance. A single copy will cost € 30.00 plus € 7.50 postage and € 7.50 handling costs.
I live abroad and would like a subscription. Is this possible ? Yes, we can post magazines abroad. If you are living inside or outside Europe or Overseas and would like to take out a subscription for a magazine, you can do this here. Subscriptions abroad are naturally subject to different subscription costs as delivery/postage costs are higher. The prices are shown in the table below. Subscriptions for an address abroad can only be taken out for a period of at least one year. The delivery of the magazine will commence after receipt of the subscription and delivery and postage costs. The subscription is valid until cancelled. Around six weeks before the end of the subscription period you will receive a payment request. Dependant on the destination the magazine can be in-transit for a maximum of three weeks. Regrettably we cannot guarantee the quality of the local postal delivery.
Which payment options do I have ? There are various payment options, which we will extend in the future, these being:
Acceptgirokaart Only possible in case you have a banking account in the Netherlands. Attached to all invoices is a standard money-order form commonly used in the Netherlands, a so-called acceptgirokaart. These can be used only if you have a banking account in the Netherlands; in that case, you just fill in the form and send it to your bank in the Netherlands.
Bank transfer / Invoice You can transfer the amount to TVU Vakbladen b.v. with the aid of/on the basis of a deposit transfer card or (electronic) invoice, which will be generated with your order. After receipt of the amount on our bank account the order will be processed.
iDEAL iDEAL is the online payment method of ABN-AMRO, Rabobank, ING and Postbank. More banks are joining iDEAL. It works in the same way as Internet banking. You will pay with your 'digipas' or with any other bankcard or calculator. Based on the digital confirmation of your bank we will be able to confirm and process the order very quickly. Cheque € 10,00 additional charge. When paying by any other means, such as by other money-orders, cheques or bank-to-bank transfers, handling banks usually charge various extra costs. In such cases, please ensure that all handling costs are covered by your payment, as otherwise we will have to send you an additional invoice including extra postage and handling costs.
Credit Card We accept EuroCard/Mastercard and VISA via a secure SSL-connection with Ogone. For VISA, please state your 19-digit VisaCard number including the 3-digit security code on the reverse of your card and the date of expiry with your order. All credit card companies offer the possibility of spreading payments and/or credit purchasing. Due to the high transaction costs we prefer other payment methods above credit card payments. We will charge you at least 6% extra calculated over the amount due in the case of a credit card payment due to the high credit card costs.
When should I pay the subscription costs ? Payment of the subscription costs, as well as the costs of postage, shipping and handling, should always take place in advance. This should take place within 14 days after the invoice date of the invoice, deposit transfer card, (electronic) invoice or via a direct debit. The maximum payment term of our invoices is 14 days from the invoice date. If payment is not received in time, payment reminder costs will be charged to you at a minimum of € 17.50 excluding VAT for each payment reminder for subscribers in the Netherlands. For subscribers abroad, payment reminder costs of at least € 37.50 excluding the applicable VAT for each reminder will be charged to them. When payment is not received even after a payment reminder was sent, TVU Vakbladen b.v. is entitled to end the subscription unilaterally and immediately and to demand fulfilment of obligations and possible compensation.
Do I receive a discount for a direct debit ? No. However we do not charge you the administration costs of € 7.50 for each deposit transfer card or (electronic) invoice.
Do I have to pay extra administration costs when I pay with a deposit transfer card or invoice ? For payment with a deposit transfer card or invoice you will be charged € 7.50 in administration costs for each deposit transfer card or (electronic) invoice. Subscriptions paid by direct debit will not be charged any administration costs.
What happens when my bank balance is insufficient ? In that case the direct debit will fail and the magazine will not be supplied. Your obligation to pay will remain. In such a case, the Customer Service department will contact you and inform you how you can pay your subscription costs.
I have received an invoice but have cancelled my subscription. How is this possible ? If you wish to end the subscription of your magazine you will need to inform us of this at least six weeks prior to the end of the subscription period via the cancel ‘subscription cancellation form’. If you cancel your subscription, less than six weeks before the end of your subscription period, you will receive an invoice for the following subscription period and will be obliged to pay this; your subscription will be terminated at the end of the following subscription period.
I have received a payment reminder but I have already paid the invoice. How is this possible ? This could be caused by the following:

When will I receive a payment reminder ? 14 days from the invoice date. Upon exceeding this period you are automatically in default and you will be charged interest from the payment date of the invoice at 1.5% per month, calculated over the amount due, whereby a part of the month will be considered an entire month.
When will I receive a last payment demand? 28 days from the invoice date.
Should I pay the original invoice or the last payment demand ? You are requested to pay the last payment demand.
What will happen if I do not pay the last payment demand ? At Least, the outstanding debt will be handed over to a third party, for instance a debt collection agency. You will be fully charged with all the associated costs, which will be at least 15% of the amount due plus interest, with a minimum of € 40.00, excluding VAT for each unpaid invoice for each subscription. Any other possibly applicable costs, judicially as well as extra-judicially will also be passed on to you to pay to us, the foregoing in accordance with our latest general and additional payment and delivery terms and conditions.

Invoice address abroad ? You will receive an invoice beforehand. Only when you have paid this invoice will we accept your order. If we do not receive payment within 28 days from the invoice date the order will be cancelled.
No VAT on orders from abroad within the European Union ? If you order as a foreign company from abroad within the European Union, perhaps there is a possibility not to pay the VAT. This means you will have to provide us with your Sales Tax ID Number, so please state your Sales Tax ID Number with your order.
Is it possible to pay in instalments ? Unfortunately this is not possible. Invoices can only be paid in full.
How do I arrange that the subscription costs are paid automatically by direct debit ? If you wish to pay automatically by direct debit this can be arranged for the next subscription payment. However if you have already received an invoice we ask you to pay this first. Click Here, if all your future payments of the subscription costs have to be carried out automatically by direct debit.
What information can I find on my deposit transfer card or invoice ? At the top of your deposit transfer card or invoice you will find the number of magazines you are paying for. The payment reference on your deposit transfer card or invoice is also the invoice number. If you pay via a telebank service you will have to state the entire payment reference. This will make the processing of your payment in our administration much easier.
When will the subscription payment be deducted ? The subscription payment will be deducted from your bank account around one month before you receive the first copy.

I have received a credit note from you. When will I receive the amount ? If you have received a credit note the amount will be automatically transferred only to the bank or giro account number on file after three months.
I have paid your invoice twice. What should I do now ? If you have paid an invoice twice you should request a refund in writing. You will have to forward us a copy of the bank statements of the payments and/or payment specifications concerned. Always state the bank or giro account number on which the amount should be refunded. This request for a refund should be sent to our Customer Service Department, for the attention of the Accounts Department.
